Originally scheduled to launch in the year 2014, Halo 5: Guardians' release date has been delayed until sometime in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The game is set to launch exclusively on the Xbox One platform and is being developed by the same makers of Halo 4. Fans were anticipating a release date sometime this year, but due to undisclosed production issues, it has in fact been pushed back.
The game will use the Xbox One's capabilities to its fullest potential. Halo 5: Guardians will be the first game in the series to run at a constant 60 FPS, but other than that no other information was provided by Microsoft at the E3 2014
The extra time available since the delay of the game's launch, fans expect more interesting and developed content.
A beta test will be made available in December, according to some sources. The beta will collect information about network data, performance data, and also will let the developers see how the users are adapting to the new features and new weapons.
Also, Microsoft has announced the The Master Chief Collection which will contain all the Halo 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bundled up for $60 available from November 11. Halo 1 andHalo 2 are even set to have receive updates to look like the modern versions.
While some fans feel disappointed about the extra wait, some find it worth it since Halo 5: Guardians will be as great as it possibly can.
